This research study aims to understand the perceptions of individuals who regularly consume various forms of interactive media-essentially, in the context of video games-and how players can relate to the characters in their narrative-driven video games.
Particularly, how it affects their relationship with loneliness. The objective addresses gamers primarily residing in India, and the research method consists of two major tools: The Celebrity-Persona Parasocial Interaction Scale and the UCLA Loneliness Scale.
