Tanay was born at a very young age. Just like some human beings, he saw the light of day and said, “nah,” and decided to get work done once the moon’s up, mostly.

Writing content wasn’t always his thing. He was a student of Humanities up till 12th grade, and then pursued art and design in college, graduating with a bachelor’s in Human Centered Design. After working as a UX Writer for a while, he reframed his famous quote, “nah,” and moved on to study Behavioural Sciences, getting a master’s degree in the same.

Combining his understanding of psychology and design, he found harmony between two of his favorite things: video games and writing. Finally, a part of him went, “YEAH!”

Today, he writes for different clients, plays guitar and sings (unless someone asks him not to), and reads a lot of fantasy fiction.

Signs of a happy childhood - some things never change.

  • Reviews, guides, transcribed interviews, listicles and editorial or opinion pieces.

Video games, books, movies, shows… you name it!

  • He shows signs of extraversion only when it’s convenient. Otherwise, he’s an ambivert.

As much as he’d like to cozy up in the corner of his room, reading a book, he’d also have 3 AM calls with people in the US if that’s needed.

  • There are several reasons for this.

First, he’s extremely passionate about sleeping and making music. He likes to do those things when he’s not working, which he cannot do in an office. He can, but there will likely be consequences.

Second, he travels a lot. He frequents Bali, Bengaluru, Mumbai, and Udaipur (his hometown).

Third, he believes in the power of work-from-home organizations. He simply refuses to waste time in a 9-5 setting where actual work only happens for a few hours.

Loves hanging out in Bali, Indonesia.

He doesn't use social media to share personal life stuff. So, here are some pictures.

He once worked as a voice over artist and comedian.

After his master's degree, he considered working as a therapist. Then, he found out how much therapists make in India, and immediately switched careers. Oops.
